Dear friend,
We are very happy that you are interested in joining us for the Earth Care Retreat.

We will join Trees for Health, a local South Devon non-profit organisation aiming to help foster healthy communities and healthy ecosystems by revitalising the use and knowledge of woodlands. Our work will include nurturing young trees at the Trees for Health tree nursery, and collecting and making wild food products.

Throughout the retreat we will offer simple instructions to bring together contemplation and meaningful action to integrate spiritual, ecological and social transformation.

Being in nature and working on the land can be a deeply satisfying and healing experience. When combined with contemplation, presence and spirited company, caring for young trees can become a profound and symbolic act of giving and receiving, of nourishing and being nourished, a celebration of life, a gesture of love. We hope this opportunity to work communally, close to the earth, will allow us to be open and directly experience our inter-connectedness with all of life.

Cost
The cost of the retreat is £110. This covers accommodation, food and Trees for Health administrative costs.

Accommodation
We will be camping on site on the Sharpham estate. You will need your own tent. We will have the use of toilets, showers, a kitchen and meditation room at Sharpham house. The cooking will be shared between all of us.

The retreat will be facilitated by Zohar Lavie
